I chose a career in oral healthcare because I grew up surrounded by it. My mom, Kristine, worked in a dental office, and I spent quite a bit of time in the dental chair as a kid myself. When I was 12, I broke two of my front teeth at school. The care and compassion I received from my dental team—and the life-changing impact of their work—deeply influenced my decision to pursue this field.
Creating relationships with the broad range of patients who I get to see is such an enriching experience. We get to see them about every two months over the course of their active treatment with us. It’s really great to get to know them over that time so we can more deeply share the enjoyment that comes with completing the treatment.
Ali is a pediatric hygienist and has been in the dental field for over 16 years, 8 of those years in pediatrics. She also starteted her career as a dental assistant.
